Why the statement matters more than the split
In practice, partnerships do not fail over the percentage. They fail when the host cannot verify the number. Giving partners a login and a traceable statement removes the monthly reconciliation call entirely, and tends to turn hosts into people who report faults to you rather than people who chase invoices.
