Uptime you can prove, not just claim

Uptime is the number your landlords, your lenders and your drivers all judge you on — and the one most operators cannot substantiate. zevOS measures it continuously from the platform side, records why each outage happened, and produces the report per site and per period.

Capabilities

What this gives you

01

Continuous connectivity monitoring

Heartbeats and session state are tracked for every charger. A missed heartbeat window marks the unit offline immediately rather than at the next dashboard refresh, and the offline period is timestamped at both ends.

02

Availability vs. connectivity

A charger can be online and still unusable — faulted connector, blocked bay, suspended EVSE. zevOS separates "is it talking" from "can a driver charge", so your uptime number reflects the driver’s experience.

  • Connector state timeline: Available, Preparing, Charging, SuspendedEV, Faulted, Unavailable
  • Faulted minutes counted against availability
  • Planned maintenance windows excluded from the SLA calculation
03

Incidents with a paper trail

Repeated faults roll up into an incident with a first-seen time, the affected sessions, the diagnostic bundles pulled, and the actions your team took. Closing it records the resolution.

04

SLA reporting

Produce the uptime figure per charger, per site or per partner contract for any period, with the underlying outage list attached. This is the artefact that settles the argument with a mall operator.

Questions

What operators ask about this

How is uptime calculated?

As the share of the period in which a connector was both connected to the platform and in a state able to accept a session, excluding maintenance windows you have declared. The raw state timeline is retained so the number can always be re-derived.

Can partners see uptime for their own sites?

Yes. Site partners get a scoped view of their own chargers, including availability, without access to the rest of your network.
